This is the best cake I've ever tasted -- it's a thrill to the tastebuds and it's so easy to make! My friend's mother-in-law made it every year for her son's birthday. Enjoy!
Martha Hopp's Strawberry CakeCake:
1 package white cake mix (Duncan Hines)
1 small box strawberry Jello
2/3 c. Wesson oil
4 eggs (well beaten)
10 oz. package frozen strawberries
Frosting:
2 tbsp. frozen strawberries
8 oz. package cream cheese, softened
1 box confectioner’s sugar
Preheat oven to 350ยบ. Mix together all cake ingredients, reserving 2 tbsp. frozen strawberries for the frosting. Beat for 2 minutes. Bake for 25-30 minutes.
For frosting, cream the cream cheese and strawberries. Add confectioner’s sugar and beat until smooth. Add milk, if necessary, to get the right consistency.
